Dwayne here and I'm a 2 year old neutered male pit bull. My beautiful eyes and coat, eager-to-please personality, and goofy outlook on life makes me quite a popular fellow amongst shelter volunteers. I am very much an adolescent (dog teenager!) and will benefit from an adopter who can provide love, structure, training, and both physical and mental exercise. I love to romp around the play yard with squeaky toys and enjoys regular outings with my “role model” buddy Dakota the Lab. Resident pets and small children in the home will depend on the adopters level of experience since I can be excitable and a bit rowdy at times.

Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010. Our hours are weekdays from 11am-7pm and weekends from 11am-6pm (closed major holidays). Interested adopters must arrive at least 1 hour before close. 



We do our best to update our listings regularly, but we can’t guarantee every animal you see is still available. It’s also typical for us to have animals who haven’t had their photos taken yet, so you are welcome to visit our adoption center and have a look around!
